Ronald Theodore

CEO, GIDC

Ronald Theodore was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Grenada Investment Development Corporation (GIDC) by the Board of the Directors with effect from 11 December 2018. He served previously as Senior Vice President from 1 October 2015. 

Highly regarded both regionally and locally in the field of investment promotion and facilitation, Theodore served with distinction as the President of the Caribbean Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (CAIPA) from 2012 to 2014 and prior to that, as its 1st Vice President from 2010 to 2012. He also serves as a Member of the Citizen By Investment Committee. Theodore is the holder of an MBA from Heriot-Watt University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of the West Indies with a major in Economics and a minor in Management. 

Over the last 17 years at GIDC, the CEO’s career has spanned the roles of Investment Promotion Officer, Investment Promotion Manager, and Vice President. He has had responsibility for developing strategies to attract and facilitate foreign direct investment (FDI) as well as advocating on behalf of investors to improve Grenada’s competitiveness. 

Cathyann Alexander-Pierre

Cathy Ann Alexander-Pierre is an investment promotion and policy specialist with over 20 years of experience facilitating investments in Grenada for both local and foreign companies.

As the VP of the Investment Promotion Agency, Cathy Ann oversees the services provided by the IPA to potential and existing investors and specializes in investment promotion and attraction, economic diplomacy, trade agreements and policy, investment incentives policy, and negotiation.

Cathy Ann has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Edinburgh Business School – Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies.

Sheryl-Anne Sylvester

Investment Facilitation Specialist

Sheryl-Anne Sylvester has more than 25 years of experience supporting investors through all stages of investing in Grenada.

As the Investment Facilitation Specialist, Sheryl-Anne works with investors by providing all requisite handholding support to turn project ideas into investment ventures. This includes providing information about investment opportunities and doing business in Grenada, arranging meetings with Government and stakeholder institutions, facilitating site visits for evaluation and monitoring, and offering investor aftercare support.

Quinton Sargeant

Quinton Sargeant is a key member of our Investment Promotion Agency team and one of our fantastic Investment Facilitation Specialists. Since 2023, Quinton has been an invaluable resource for potential investors. Drawing on nearly fifteen years of customer service experience, and his wealth of knowledge to make the investor’s journey into Grenada’s economic market as seamless as possible.

Quinton’s enthusiasm for Grenada’s thriving tourism sector is evident in his work, facilitating investments across tourism accommodation, water sports operations, taxi and tour services, and the diverse culinary scene of restaurants and bars. He also provides crucial support to those interested in the growing agro-processing and manufacturing sectors.

Selena Roberts

As a newly appointed Investment Facilitation Specialist, Selena Roberts offers three years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. She is a dynamic professional with a dual focus on investment and hospitality, having led strategic investments that blend her expertise in tourism accommodation standards with a passion for exceptional investor experiences. Selena bridges the gap between investor expectations and innovation by maximizing customer satisfaction and creating memorable experiences from concept to completion in all priority sectors. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the St. George’s University and is passionate about both local and foreign investment, as well as fostering relationships with both established and emerging investors.

Marsha Beckford

The Investment Promotion Agency welcomes Marsha Beckford as our dedicated Promotion Specialist.
